I've revamped this thread a bit...a bit of cosmetic changes and such. Archived version here.
With regards to how the suffix system works, try reading this thread. Armor and Weapon suffixes works independently. Try this thread for the differentiations.
Disclaimer:
This is the time I'll like to bring out my point of view regarding some suffixes choices. Please feel free to give your contructive criticism/point of view. This is not a guide.
For clarification purposes, I'm not an expert in any of the mechanics field of Dragon Nest. However, I'll try my best to answer questions. If anyone has a better explanation, feel free to shoot.
The suggestions are specifically for the Sorceresses and Clerics(zooming in to Priests and if applicable, M.Atk skill orientated Paladins w/ Light spells.)
For other classes, you might want to into this thread, as different combinations yields different results.
Well, here I go.
Sorceresses
Recommended Weapon Suffixes: Double Intel Weapons
Why is the Magic Power and Int Weapon Suffix Combo not recommended now?
The old Magic Power and Int combo was for the old suffix system. The old suffix system is outdated.
The Magic Power's slight increase in raw attack just isn't worth the trade of the usefulness of the Intel Suffix should it activate. Also, activation chance and effects stacks with the same weapon suffixes.
Why is the Double Int Weapons recommended?
The debuff effect will be revamped ito a very powerful 10s -x% elemental resist debuff.(Giving a damage increase over 10 seconds) Chaose
There is no suffix there's more powerful than this. Chaose
Party members who has elemental skills will also deal more damage since it's actually a debuff on the target. Chaose
Intel debuff from various weapons(Including party members) all stack. Chaose
Debuff Effect takes the total amount of resist reduction instead of only one's weapon resist reduction.(Since weapon suffix effect stacks) Chaose
Here's how it stacks.
Example: Member A activates his/her suffix effect on the adversary, which decreases the enemy's elemental defense by 10% (i.e. -10% elemental def.) 5 seconds later, Member B also activates his/her suffix effect on the opponent(Assuming that by default, if there's no stacking involved, it'll be a 10% decrease in elemental def.), which decreases the enemy's elemental def. by another 10%. Observe.
0-5 seconds: -10% elemental def. on enemy
5-10 seconds: -20% elemental def. on enemy
10-15 seconds: -10% elemental def. on enemy since the first activation expired.
Magic Power and the Elementals only give additional damage to one hit, while the Intel suffix gives a debuff in 10 seconds, and is stackable. (The Intel suffix would seem more superior, no? They share the same cooldown of 30s, by the way) Chaose

Dark suffix and other elemental suffix when fixed as I know would work like Dest and Mag. Those suffix would only affect 1 hit of your attack. Which means that you would only boost 1 hit of your attack for every 30 secs.
Comparing Magic Power vs Intel raw stats via Manticore Weaponry-
Main Weapon
Magic Power:
M.Atk: 299-405
Intel: 21
Crit:1053
Agi:14
Intel:
M.Atk 284-385
Intel: 42
Crit: 861
Agi:28
Note that the difference in M.Atk is around 15 to 20. Taking into consideration of Intel debuff and more Int, the difference is not that much in terms of raw damage, but Intel's debuff utility is way better. However, you'll be losing around 200 critical if using Intel. That'll be the only downside. Even so, Crit can come from other equipment and/or such. The Agi stats for Intel is higher than Magic Power too. To summarise:
M. Atk difference: 15 to 20. Intel Suffix has more Int.
Intel Debuff > Magic Power Debuff
Intel Crit < Magic Power, MP around 200 Crit more.
Intel Agi > Magic Power Agi
Sub-Weapon
Magic Power:
M.Atk 174-263
Intel: 18
Crit: 73
Intel:
M.Atk 142-214
Intel: 30
Crit: 73
For this case, Magic Power's M.Atk difference is higher, around 30 to 60 or so(Estimated). But, Intel difference is also quite significant. If needed, Agi's stats for Staff is higher than Agi's stats for Magic Power. This means that crit wise, Magic Power actually loses out here. Also,do take Intel's debuff into consideration. So,
Magic Power's M.Atk > Intel's M.Atk around 30-60
Intel Int > Magic Power Int
Int Debuff > Magic Power Debuff
Intel overall Crit > Magic Power Crit due to higher Agi
Recommended Armor Suffix Combinations:
HP and Intel Armor Suffix mix
4 HP 1 Int(Helm)
4 HP 1 Mana(Helm) for the Elemental Lords due to usage of toggle shields. (Recommended by Saurus)
Why is Iron Wall not that useful now?
The first hit that triggers it is not affected by the Iron Wall buff. Chaose
The damage reduction only applies after the buff icon appears. Chaose
A very long 2min 30s wait.
Why is HP suffix recommended in armor?
Because Chaose says so (Ok, just kidding. I really can't find a very detailed reason why, but mainstream Suffix combo is actually 4x HP and 1x Int(Helm) for FUs. That should be reason...enough? Anyway, Iron Wall is out, HP is life leech!)
There are so many threads praising the usage of HP suffix. Seriously, just take a quick scan and you'll realise it's usefulness PvP wise. I'll give you an example. For PvE though, don't rely on it too much. Quoting from Koizell, "...the heal effect from the life suffix is not gonna help in SDN(you will kiss the floor before it takes effect)..."
To show you the power of Life Prefix and Mana Helm for ELs:
Since FUs do not have toggable shields and/or mana eating skills, Intel Helm is more useful for the slight damage increase.
Clerics
Recommended Weapon Suffixes:
Intel Main Weapon, Magic Power Sub Weapon
Dual Intel
Previously, I've actually recommended Dual Intel because of the debuff. But recently, there was a discussion regarding Magic Power vs Intel in the cleric section, and someone pointed out this interesting fact:
Jan 8th, 21:02 Quote by Hikusaak
Magic Power epic shield 40 : 153-230 matk
Int epic shield 40: 107-160 matk, 35 int
the 35 int will not cover the 70 matk advantage mpow shield have.
Now people can argue about the actual suffix effect and whatsnot, but pure stat wise, mpow shield epic > int epic shield, the gap is quite big.
The same can be said on the wand actually, mpow wand have 18 matk advantage, but int wand have 18 int advantage, pure stat wise mpow is still better, but this time the gap is very small, and I would still suggest INT wand for the actual suffix effect.
The Stats for Manticore Weaponry are as follows:
Main Weapon
Magic Power:
M.Atk 238-358
Int: 18
Crit: 635
Agi: 12
Intel:
M.Atk 226-340
Int: 36
Agi: 24
Crit: 473
The difference in M.Atk is around 12 to 18. While Magic Power wins in terms of raw critical, Intel has more Agi and Int. The difference in the M.Atk is very small. Considering the usefulness of Intel Debuff, I'll definitely suggest Intel just for the bit of sacrifice.
Difference in M.Atk between MP and Int is 12-18
Intel Agi and Int > MP's Agi and Int
Intel's Debuff > MP's debuff
MP's Crit > Int Crit by around 200.
However, our focus is actually shifted to Shields.
Sub Weapon
Magic Power:
M.Atk : 153-230
Int: 0
Agi: 11
Intel:
M.Atk: 107-160
Agi: 11
Int: 35
The difference in terms of raw magic power this time is actually very huge, around 46 to 70 without considering Int in Intel suffix. Although the Intel debuff is definitely useful, the M.Atk in Magic Power can increase the healing relic's heal by a signficant amount. Both has it's usefulness, so choose wisely. Perhaps you might want to craft an Intel and a Magic Power to swap around for different situations. The choice is yours.
Pros of Magic Power:
A higher M.Atk than Intel by a significant amount even counting Int. stat inside of Int.
Heal Relic increases HP heal potential
Cons of Magic Power:
Bad suffix effect
Pros of Intel:
Suffix effect which is more party friendly. Clerics can also utilise the effect.
Cons of Intel:
Lower M.Atk means lower healing potential.
Recommended Armor Suffix Suggestions:
HP and Intel Mix
There isn't really a fixed amount of parts you should follow. It's totally dependent on you. Please do not get Mana-My Priest's Mana is still full even after a whole pt. Apoc. Hell Run =_=
Straightforward: Intel for more damage potential, HP for more survivability. You can go full Int, full HP, 3:2 ratio. It's entirely up to you. The rest of the suffixes are not very useful imo. Iron Wall sucks, period.
Misconception:
Intel debuff only works for skills with elements. Neutral element is not really an element...the discription in the ingame text is misleading.
Feel free to correct me if there are any error or discrepancies, and feel free to give constructive comments.

There is one interesting suffix which i think some of you guys might be interested in though.
I am not sure how this suffix is translated in English, but i think we call it Vigor Suffix here in CDN.
Vigor suffix can only be crafted on sub-weapon ( for mages, it's the staff).
It increasse xx % of MP regen over 10sec, cd 30sec.
You will be surprised how fast this baby regen your MP.
I actually crafted one recently and tried it myself, and the result is amazing.
I always keep one in my inventory now and use it whenever i am low on MP (pvp/pve).
Might be helpful for long dungeons/nest or situation where your MP get drained to 0 in split second ( stage 3 of Bishop Nest or stage 5 of Green Dragon Nest).
Just swap your usual weapon with this Vigor weapon to activate the effect. The buff stays on for 10sec even after you removed the weapon.
For elemental lord, Vigor staff has been gaining popularity here in CDN over int suffix.
Reason: PERMANENT SHIELD
Yes, you will NOT need to turn your shield off AT ALL. This baby alone (without Mana helm) will keep your MP almost permanently FULL, even if your shield on.
Now, this give elemental lord an interesting option. most classes will not think that Vigor is an offensive weapon, but rather a utility one.
However, elemental lord has Ice shield, which has a chance to freeze surrounding targets. If you are permanently turn on the shield, you basically ensure that, you get 1.5x dmg quite often. However, nobody really know how the activation % for the ice shield works and i shall leave it to the fellow EL to explore this option.
A: Int suffix give like 10%+ elemental dmg boost for 10sec, cd 30sec ;
B: vigor + perma ice shield give 50%+ ALL DAMAGE (mag and phy ) boost for 3sec.
Think about it ^_^

If you still have doubts in creating Intel Weapons Suffix, look at this!
so it's pretty probable that we can give them almost perma-debuff with 3-4 int suffix users?
Ok, to tell you the truth, regarding such info, I only read and pick up what seems logical. I have no idea whether we can almost perma debuff, but I believe it's subjective. There's a 30s cooldown, and if luck happens to be on your side and all the 3/4 Int Suffix users activated their suffixes in chains of succession, then bingo, almost perma-debuff.
There's actually a short amount of time which you might actually be able to perma-debuff...that's during Time Accel/Beyond Time. The skill actually cuts suffixes time as well. But the duration is so short...
30s isn't that long as well, I guess you can say that? (That is, if the party is really lucky and the Int users chained their suffix activation in such a nice timing...)
Note that there's also the chance of activation on the suffix itself to consider as well, regarding timing.
[Edited. If anyone can gives a clear idea regarding this, it'll be nice, because that's how I perceive it.]

TS what are u talking about? does that mean EL becomes overly overpowered again? or those which wield elemental attacks?
Since the elemental debuff is on the mob, that means those who wield elemental attacks gain damage boost(on the specific mob) if any of the Int user suffix activates. So far, it benefits EL, Priests, Paladins, FUs...I doubt the Archers/Warrior classes have elements.
Just don't use skills like those in the lazer line(For FUs) or physical attacks(For Paladins) which has no elements during the 10s...

So what does magical SM craft on their weap? Since they got no elements.
Ah, this will be one of those questions which I could not answer. You'll have to ask a professional SM for that.
I freaking rushing into my Level 40 Epics suffix, now I have to change all over again and worse, I'm intending to go for a Manticore Set with the new suffix I have in mind.
Twin intell suffix is the best now, in CDN. (not sure about SEA/NA since u guys have the bug, which i am not even sure what is it about)
Hmm... what advantages does 2x intell suffix have over intel(main) + magic power (secondary) ? Pardon my noobness. Not very clear on these prefix stuff yet ;p
