Critical damage's damage is always strongest.

If you pvp, 30% crit actually benefits more than PVE.

For critical chance increase, does it increase your own base critical by x% or the skill itself has x% chance to inflict a critical?

I don't understand the point of having critical chance plate, first of all, it's a must for every class to put their critical at a decent rate.

Second, you also need to consider other party buffs when building up your character to maximize every stat. you invested on it.

So what are the reason why ppl still opting to use critical chance plate aside from PVP use? (tense)

Not really, you see, you can rake a lot of damage if your equipment if pure STR/P.atk, ignoring all possible chance of obtaining crit (instead of 3rd stats crit, you go for P.atk). Then after that get your core skills, excluding General Dunblade and Praetor If you're a spirit dancer, heraldry with 30% crit, you can crit rather well even with rather bad critical chance (45 ~ 60%)

if that 30% crit in that particular skill is also applicable in PVP, is it a more viable choice?
cause 30% sure crit in PVP is a big thing isnt it?
PVE wise, it might not be viable,
but PVP, ill rather use crit chance, if it is also sure 30% in PVP

Mind you that GDB and Praetor got wide stinger buff, so really, there's no point of having critical chance at all.

Also the fact that 20% damage plate is like having 20% FD in a certain skill.

"Excluding", please read,

That's true, but if you want to stack high % of FD (unless you're so rich you can 100%FD + 89%Crit + >10k p/m.atk) its kind of better getting your crit chance to near cap with low crit rather than adding a 20% damage. Afterall, 100% more damage @ higher chance > 20% confirm increase if you can't/didn't cap crit.

not best though at kali esp at screamer types
since kali is str/int type(int&dark attack for screamers , str/physical attack for dancers)

it depends on what 1st job a kali is
for screamers thou you must focus on pure matk and since kali has phantom guard... you could increase your mana by adding mana plate(since phantom guard absorbs damage delt in exchange of your mana

Err.. for PvP, its understandable.

But I seriously see no point in having Critical Chance for it, why?

With 20% Damage plate, it means a 2.4x damage on that particular skill when crit instead of just 2.

Not to mention, in PvE, critical is so easy to build, sources are everywhere, 3rd stats plate, AGI stats, 17% pots.
