The Skills Ranking and Comparison for Sorceress



The Tables here represent the rankings of the sorceress skills with respect to damage dealt. This assumes all skills doing full hit damage on a target with no elem resist and no mdef. The tables here compare all skills via damage per CD.

Lv 93 Rough Estimates for the 93 skill changes and the Awakening skills. All using a base matk of 70000, Smasher here is already made elemental, passives and elem atk buffs included minus the 50% int increase since all of them have that.

lol at gravity switch, at dps chart, from rank 23 up to rank 5 (:D)

also at laser cutter, before on lv 60 it was on second rank, but on lv70 it vanishes from the chart (oo) poor laser cutter

It's actually on first place, in the dmg/CD list

Ice Sphere winning over all the other level 50 sorceress skills,  go "ice stacker" (:>)
and Rolling Lava as the lowest of all the 50 sorc skills, LOL.

Reserving this post:

Seems like So far Fire tier spells are always in top 5. And Burning hand procs aren't calculated yet. If so their ranking would definitely increase 3-5 folds depending of numer of successful BH procs that could possily occur. More proc/tick means more damage boost.

Question: Van does BH also trigger on the burn/2 sec for all fire spells in your compilation/testing?

well people do underestimate ice sphere... but actually ice sphere is also the skill that is most unlikely to make full hits... only on very big targets will it deal full damage...

Burning hand only triggers on actual hits... burn damage doesnt count with the exception of fire shield's first burn count... i cannot also add burning hand due to the fact I havent fully tested it out with the new effect in CDN... I'll be doing that tomorrow i guess while leveling my saleana in CDN... along with the new plate set of burning hand...

Van I'd like to contribute more data to your tabulation. For example % of Fire,Water, Dark, Non-elem skills included in top 5,10,20 ranking.

Kindly indicate the target and what various data are under consideration. Are MDEF taken under consideration? The Elemental resistance of Target? Since these would greatly affect the result of your computation

Lv 60:


Trend: Fire skills seems to be the most damaging spells for Lv 60 category since 7/20 of its skills are included within top 20 skills. Dark and Non-Elemental would rank next since both have 4/9 of their skills are  included in top 20 list. Last but not least is Water Elemental having 4 out of 10 of its skills included in top 20.

TOP 5: 2/5 [40%] of Fire-ased skills are included in Rank 1-5. 20% of all fire skills in top 5

aleady stated the elem atk of the elemental skills...

mdef is 0... elem resist 0... mdef is very variable and we dont know the mdef of all monsters... I will also not add elem resist to make everything fair, that also is variable depending on the skill...

Yes this is what I meant, that these info should be included in your Primary Post as a base assumption so everybody viewing your compilation will get acquainted. Also How many mobs enemies are being used as target dummy? How many small, medium, large targets are being hit since we know it will produce different result. Damage would then e multiplied the more targets being affected by the used skill assuming full hit/board damage are taken.

added in notes the situation of no elem resist and no mdef

actually this is gained by doing the formula of damage calculation:
((%Skill amplification * base matk) + Additional damage)* skill coefficient)*(1+% elem atk)

this isnt test damage... it would be too variable... unless you can make your min and max matk the same and that high...

you can also use that and calculate your own damage... anyway all coefficients and how skills deal hits based on the board damage are summarized in the skills thread...

Please indicate as well also many will expect/assume that this is the real output of overall damage. Please include that this is true assuming all hits are received based on the calculation you used. Like you've said not all of Rolling Lava's board damage would be inflicted nor Ice Sphere or Fire Wall Ex and in result, potential damage would be lower than the Potential damage done by the spell itself.

already stated that this table assumes skills doing a full hit damage... if they dont understand that then i dont know what will make them understand it...

FB EX will be the top skill once the new burning hand passive is implemented, since it deals 80% of the hit that triggered it, and FB EX only has 1 hit...

So they have nerfed the amplification value down to 80% from 100? Did they increase the proc chance as a compensation for it?
