From what i see at the spreadsheet Maelstorm Howl has 1600 SA def, and Crisis Howl has 600 SA break.
But from what i've experienced, Crisis Howl can be used when Maelstorm Howl starts sucking you, and it can cancel Maelstorm.

The theory about how Maelstorm Howl has stages of SA might be true, or you might want to think over Crisis Howl SA breaking power, or Maelstorm SA defense power.
You might want to check this out. Many times i played against my friend, Destro vs Destro, we always use Crisis Howl whenever we have it to cancel Maelstorms.

^ Thats lag. Crisis howl can't even break triple slash with brave debuff.

During laggy moment I can even break maelstorm howl with Impact PUNCH (:>)

Not sure about lag (oo;)
It happens everytime. Which is why i'm pretty sure.

This is assuming without buffs right? Besides, brave debuff reduces SA destructive power, combine that with 3ple slash. You can hardly cancel it.

You can use crisis howl to dodge maelstrom howl, but not to break it.

Did you use it immediately right on the second when he casted Maelstrom Howl? Maybe lets say, within the first suction.

I believe that the theory of SA building up was pretty much proven as one of the PvP mechanics in DN and any skill become it comes out have very little SA.

regarding values on dash slash + eclipse = 1200 or Triple slash + Ecp = 800(2hits)+600 SA break and MH having 1600 SA...I did encounter cancelling MH using those skill chain...pls clarify thx and gj zack

^ Triangle shot isn't enough to break it. And so is charge shot ex. Withotu a doubt Dash slash + Eclipse can break Flying swing but not MH. So does triple slash + Eclipse can break Flying swing.

But I did encounter myself cancelling MH and thats was during the 50cap for some reason I seldom see mercs in pvp after the 60 cap hmmm not too sure bout it though....

bad thing is I cant perform experiments since I dont (CANT!) play DN here in myanmar oh well...

a little correction from my exp

warrior dash SA was only around 2sec (tumble cd 2.6sec) there still a little time for SA break that y cant be call unlimited SA

and Dash SA corfirm not 200  coz

2hit twinshot / airpouche  wont be able to cancel the Dash SA

This guide I made for a friend of mine says otherwise about twin shot, at 1:06:



And air pounce has broken stomp and heavy slash for me, so it can definitely break dash.

I like how the last hit of shield charge makes my opponent fly, the SA is really great. Nice guide, I can use this for my Crusader. (lol)

Twin shot can definitely break Dash. When ever fighting acros I do tumble > Dash > I try to avoid 1 hit twin shot if I've eaten 2 my dash is broken.

I've added all the super armor values for all kali classes except the last 2 EXes for spirit dancer, soul eater and blade dancer.

I've also added all SA Break values for kali, screamer and dark summoner.

I will work on the rest tomorrow (currently 12am in Sweden).

I think General Dunblade SA is higher than 600

Refer to Kazu new video :

32:26 onwards

GDB (600 SA) + Phantom Guard (+50 SA)  SA is not breakable with Ring Shot (750 SA break)

Sweep kick can break Moonlight splitter. If I recall it can break aerial combo also right ?

Phantom Guard adds 50% super armor. Not a value of 50 super armor.

50% of 600 = 300. 600 + 300 = 900.

About sweeping kick: sweeping kick has 100 SA Break I'm pretty sure. Side kick has lower though.
