Well I'm on a vacation now, and still finding my way to play dragon nest. Unfortunately the ISP on my current location is so poor it disconnect my game every time for no apparent reason (maybe some limitations of the ISP), so i tried something i found on the internet called VPN or Virtual Private Network. Well it works for me, i can play now without being disconnected, but I'm kinda scared when i found out it was using different IP address everytime (oo) .  Is this just fine? or does it violates any rules in playing dragon nest like using 3rd party etc.? Does VPN is considered 3rd party software? (sob)

VPN is consider a Tunneling Network which doesn't seems to be any issue to me.
This goes sames to Proxy IP too.

I think it's alright to use it since you have a valid reason but I'll let the Mod decide on this.

Not sure, but I think as long as you don't modify any game files, its ok

using a vpn is at most tweaking and meddling with ur comp's network settings and internet connection,
it dosent in anyway or manner affect how u connect to the game as per normal, only thing diff is e.g.
ur from singapore u use a singapore isp, the server recognize u as a singapore ip address,
ur from sweden u use a singapore vpn, the server also recognize u as a singapore ip address,
other than that i dont see how using a DNS/VPN would be illegal here in playing DNSEA.

Before i was using a globe tattoo stick and i was having blackscreens everyday then i decided to use hotspot shield (vpn) and it worked for me,  i was able to get out of towns finally. Imho the program tweaks your network config and not the client itself and knowing cherrycredits, they got a hot eye for tweaking dragon nest files itself and if your reason of using such a program is to fix or stabilize your connection to the server, i think there is no problem there. As long as you wont touch the files inside the dragon nest folder
