Scope Arrow (non-ex) lvl 16, 13s cooldown: 379% + 9374 PER ARROW. This makes its full board damage 2274% + 56244 (6 arrows).

If compared to a lvl 1 scope arrow: 211% x 6 = 1266%

From one of the artillery guides (iDreamy):

Lv16 Scope Arrow EX, your best spammable single target burst
Breaking down it's damage...
Projectile on hit = 50% of damage board
Explosion on Projectile hit = 30% of damage board
Splitting Arrows = 50% of damage board each, total of 6 Splitting Arrows
Visible cross-directional Splitting Arrow's explosions = 20% of damage board each

Total of 460% damage board or 4.6 total coefficient when landing a Full Hit
While 3.8 total coefficient if you didn't manage to land the 4 Splitting Arrow explosions


4.6 coefficient x 379% board damage = 1743.4% total (for EX version though)

Could I safely assume that the non-EX version is not that far behind?

first of all the jade system will be put in motion at that cap this will affect our skill build and will evolve us to be converted to a pure breed.

-28% for the missing intellect boost also
third:
the passive 10% phy increase will damage some magical DPS since only physical will be boosted (based on SP spent for magical tree)
another nail in the magical tree coffin

fourth
the skill and enchantment plate that is supposed to be given for physical damage will be wasted for one of your maxed out
or high lvl magical skill  

i hope that the information I gave will be SUPERIMBABBQGGWTFHAX help for your build, and can save 1 or 2 reset scroll for the future.

Personal:
I like to help my fellow snipers but only for snipers who dig in forums threads. thats why i didnt made a thread with these kind of infos. becoz snipers are bobo please wews go to assassin class. (clap)
and even with all that nerfs i will still use crossbow since I HATE WTF PEW for longbows
my scope,rapid,swift and TA will still be at lvl 1. because if i discarded one of those i will not be the same sniper again

anyway.. im not always visiting freedom forum or other advance server's forum.. but magic skills going to be nerfed for snipers? does that mean scope11 is........... (oo)

AFAIK it's not going to be nerfed, it's just that physical tree will have improvements

Credits to raveyy from his artillery guide:

For Scope Arrow, the coefficiency is 3.8, one arrow hits for 0.5 each, the initial arrow + explosion consist of 0.5 + 0.3, therefore the entire skill hits for 3.8, if the other 6 arrows explodes at the target (if the target is big enough), every explosion does a 0.2 coeff explosion, total of 1 more co eff. Do note that Scope Arrow EX has a much more significant maximum range as compared to Scope Arrow.

3.8 coefficient x 379% board damage = 1440.2% matk total for normal scope arrow
4.8 coefficient x 379% board damage = 1819.2% matk total for BIG monsters


I'm actually looking for ankle shot now can't seem to find one. (T.T)
Or ankle shot is just simple 184% (lvl6) x 3 = 552% since it has no explosions etc.?

well actually i only visited freedom forums once for the ddn mechanics
and yes the nerf is only for snipers but not the skill it self but its function for your job class due to the new jade system.
and a lvl 11 scope isn't gonna be (oo)  its gonna be (puke) for snipers and snipers only

and for the raveyy guide. yes its true scope got WTF damage for artilleries on 70 cap but not anymore for snipers.

Not sure what his skill build is, but looking at that 1.4m Charged Shot vs that 70k/hit Scope Arrow, I'd say it's a lv1 Scope Arrow build.

i know the effect of our lvl65 passive,,, but i didnt know the total effect (like that scope)... (shame)

luckily my planned build only have the max scope.. now i'll go distribute it for other filler skills.. (:>)

Good thing I was aiming for Lgrade quiver for the reward but I didn't expect elemental sniper to be THAT effective in a 4 man nest.

Funny comment: But note that I never use siege during the DPS times because simply, roa EX + Ulti or ACS EX does way more. I mainly use Siege EX as a CD staller.. you know while wiating for sylph's and flower to come up, ij ust use siege and use it as a left click for long rnage safe charged shots pretty much or right click if i can (lol)

17 ACS
15 + 1 Siege
12 RoA
2 Ulti
1 Frag
1 Swift
1 FAke shot
1 Tumbling Shot
Max Spiritual Focus/LB Mastery/Sylphs Aid
Lvl 6 Ankle shot
took a 1 points off roa and ACS to get lvl 6 ankle + lvl 15 Siege.
I like having Swift shot in my build for the extra iframe

sniper: all max, who dont want to max them? (cool)

Well this sucks. Bye bye to scope arrow I guess. (sob) I wish they'd change it to a passive cd reduction skill which would be more appropriate for us.

Sniper: Physical Attack Mastery
• When attacking targets with physical skills, there is a certain chance to trigger a buff which increases phy attack and reduces magical attack.
Lv1 (Lv65):  Trigger chance 30%, Phy attack increase 10%, Mag attack reduce 10%, Duration 6sec, CD 8sec.
Lv2 (Lv75):  Trigger chance 30%, Phy attack increase 13%, Mag attack reduce 13%, Duration 7sec, CD 7sec.
Comment: This type of passive basically forces you to focus on either physical attack or magical attack only, for sniper and artillery respectively. For example, as a sniper, if you use a physical skill first, and this buff triggers, then you use a magical skill while the buff is still on, your magical skill will deal lower damage.

Artillery: Magical Attack Mastery
• When attacking targets with magical skills, there is a certain chance to trigger a buff which increases mag attack and reduces phy attack.

Comment: at first glance, it seems that artillery is getting an equal but opposite effect as compared to sniper. The fact is, if you are familiar with the dmg calculation of magical breeze, you will know that the dmg increase from magical breeze increases with lower physical attack and higher magical attack. This passive actually benefits artillery much more than sniper in this sense, if you do the math. (WTH?! I call this injustice!!)

While for other classes there aren't any penalties or drawbacks. Devs hate sniper... Or maybe they changed/removed the matk and patk penalty already?

You can do both easily, unless you are aiming for DDN L main hand (as the conversion jade has to be slotted into main hand). It only takes like 5g to swap from full physical to full elemental jades. Such is the flexibility of the Jade system.

Kage's sniper isn't even *that* geared, just the usual +10 epic weapons and medium-grade jades. He reads Korean, and apparently the kDN community considers Sniper the best burst DPS in the game, on par with the Assassins if not higher. After seeing those pictures with conversion jades with an Abyss Walker around to boost Dark Attack by like 50% alone, and how powerful Lucky Shot gets at 70 cap... I believe him. 25-30 million ACS EX. 40-50 million RoA EX.

Meanwhile I'm lucky if my Saint's Chain Lightning even breaks 1.5 million total, even though his equipment is enhanced to similar levels and he's outfitted in medium/high grade jades too. :(
