Title was written so because at this time I'm not sure yet on certain part.

Without further ado, Let's go on Skill first:

Recommended skill build for PvE is here:
https://dnmaze.com/s...0--00--0-0-----

Silver Hunter Skills:
Assumption:
- Skills DPS is based on Silver Hunter mode (half of the original CD)
- The frame time is based on the 60 fps recording.
- Frame measurement maximum error is 2. So if I list the duration is x frame, the actual time could be x-1 or x+1

Spiral Bolt:
Coefficient : 1*1 hit
DPS (Lv19)  : 1441%/5.5s = 262%
Note : has very long range, can hit grounded target
Cast time (ground) :  56 frame (0.93s)
Cast time (air) :  31 frame (0.52s)

Aerial Wild Shot:
Coefficient : 1*32 small hit + 1*1 big hit
DPS (Lv18) : (70%*32 + 846%*1) => 3086%/9s = 335%
Cast time (ground) : 138 frame (2.30s). Inclusive with big arrow
Cast time (air) :  60 frame (1.00s) for arrow rain, 36~41 frame (0.65s) for big arrow

Arrow Storm:
Coefficient : 1*5 hit (after turned guided) or 8 hit (before turned guided)
DPS (Lv16) : (284%*8) => 2272%/7.5s = 302%
Current known bug : Explosion sometimes don't trigger
Cast time (ground) : 91 frame (1.52s)
Cast time (air) :  39 frame (0.64s)

Deluge Bolt:
Coefficient : 1*5 hit
DPS (Lv15)  : 568%*5 => 2840%/6s = 473%
Note : Range is 8.5m, can hit grounded target
Cast time (ground) : 100 frame (1.67s)
Cast time (air) : 42 frame (0.70s)

Rising Wind:
Coefficient : 0.15*6 hit, 0.1*1hit
DPS (Lv13) : 2024%/14 = 144%
Note: The 20% damage taken debuff is EX type
Cast time (ground) : 67 frame (1.12s)
Cast time (air) : 42 frame (0.70s)

Tornado Shot:
Coefficient : 1*10 hit
Practical DPS (Lv11) : See Liberty Attack + Tornado Shot
Note : Can be cast in air even without transforming to SH
Current known bug : sometimes tornado doesn't appear
Cast time (ground) : 160 frame (2.67s)
Cast time (air) : 112 frame (1.87s)
Cast time (INS) :  39 frame (0.65s)

Liberty Attack:
Coefficient : 0.1 kick, 0.9 crossbow whack, 1.0 sacred arrow. Total = 2.0
Practical DPS (Lv11) : See Liberty Attack + Tornado Shot
Note :
- Only crossbow whack triggers Tornado Shot INS CD reset, the kick does not.
- Only when crossbow whack hit target and the target alive the sacred arrow will be fired.
Cast time : 82 frame (1.37s)

Liberty Attack + Tornado Shot:
Practical DPS (Lv6+Lv11) : (1360%*2 + 434% * 10)/15 = 470%
With Class Mastery 2, if Liberty Attack hits, Tornado Shot will turn into INS and CD will be reset.
Since Liberty Attack has lower CD than Tornado Shot, you will use them in tandem most of the time.
Unless, both Liberty Attack and Tornado Shot is ready, you want to cast Tornado Shot first, then Liberty Attack > Tornado Shot.

Falcon:
Normal attack :  4 hit * 0.25 for 100%
Falcon rise   (Lv9) : 10 hit * 0.1  for 736% every 5s
Falcon strike (Lv12) :  4 hit * 0.25 for 782% every 5s

with Function Specialization A, Falcon is enhanced to 3x damage:
Normal attack :  300%
Falcon rise   (Lv9) : 2208%
Falcon strike (Lv12) : 2349%

- Falcon attacks do not have light element.
- Attack pattern is Falcon Rise > Normal attack > Falcon Strike repeating every 6 seconds
=> Falcon Practical DPS is with maxed skills is : (300% + 2208% + 2349%)/6 = 4857%/6 = 810%

A or B ?

Dodge Enhancement:
A : Moment Evasion DMG + 50%
B : Counter attack animation turns into Spiral Kick
Recommended : A

Reason :
- B has lower damage
- It's been reported that B's Spiral Kick animation has no iframe

Attack Enhancement:
A : FD + 10%
B : Light Attack + 15%
Recommended : A

Reason :
- Falcon doesn't deal light damage, hence not getting benefit from option B
- The cut off point when option A gives the same benefit to option B to light elemental skills is when FD=0% and Light attack=50%.
And 50% light is not incredibly difficult to get. Here's how:
4 * 8.10% light jades = 32.40%
2 * 2% brilliant fragment ring = 4%
5.00% title from Manticore HC clear within 15 minutes
2 * 4.07% from Lv90 skill rings
That gives you 49.54% light attack. Hence you're very close to the point I said earlier.
Option A gives same damage output to option B. But only option A that amplifies your Falcon DMG.

Function Specialization:
A : Falcon 3x damage
B : Trap Debuff duration
Recommended : A (for PvE), B for (PvP)

Reason:
Not much explanation needed for choosing A on PvE,
but probably another reason you want B for PvP is that you may want the Falcon stays as long as he can.

Silver Hunter EX:
A : 5 secs iframe after transforming
B : Silver Hunter Transform CD reduced by 30 secs
Recommended : B

Reason :
Again, no need explanation why B is superior.
If you really need iframe, you can easily press jump twice as soon as you transform to cast Moment Evasion

Skill heraldry :
Lv16 pouch:
Spiral Bolt : DMG or CD
Summon Falcon : CD or MP recovery
Flamingo : DMG or CD
Air raid : DMG or CD

Lv24 pouch:
Aerial Wild Shot : DMG or CD
Arrow Storm : DMG or CD
Liberty attack : AtkSpeed increase or MP Recovery

Lv32 pouch:
Hunter Eye : Buff duration increase 12% or CD
Deluge Bolt : DMG or CD
Rising wind : Debuff duration increase 20% or CD

Lv40 pouch:
Trapper : MP recovery
Trap master : damage reduction 15% or CD
Monkey catch : CD reset chance or CD reduction
Destruction Area : CD

Silver Hunter:
Trans SilverHunter: buff duration +12% or CD
Moment Evade : DMG or CD
Tornado shot : DMG or attack speed increase

Plate to pick:
Must:
Deluge Bolt DMG
Reason : Your #1 DPS skill.

Recommended:
Rising Wind CD
Reason :
1. with CD plate, you can close that 4 secs gap where there's no dmg debuff on enemy to just 1.2 secs, instead of 2 secs if you're opting debuff duration plate.
2. If you can spam it more often, that means Silver Hunter CD will be reduced more often.

Aerial Wild Shot CD
Reason :
1. 2nd best burst after Tornado Shot as well as 2nd best DPS
2. Group well with Arrow Storm (7.5s) with CD plate (9s turned to 7.2s)
3. If you can spam it more often, that means Silver Hunter CD will be reduced more often.

Tornado Shot DMG
Reason:
There's a dilemma when picking attack speed.
When in air, you probably need that longer cast time in order to stall in air longer, giving other skills to recover more CD, but when casting in ground, you may want that attack speed. That is, if you don't cast Tornado Shot INS.

The difference between normal Tornado Shot and Tornado Shot INS cast time is night and day (2.67s vs 0.65s). Not to mention your DPS is higher if you can effectively use Liberty Attack > Tornado Shot INS everytime Liberty attack available.

Silver Hunter CD
Reason :
This is probably for the content where there's frequent buff wipe like RDN and those with lots of mechanics that doesn't allow you to hit targets for long time. So far, I'm managing well without this plate

Accessories:
Necklace:
Flamingo
Air Raid
Silver Hunter

Earrings:
Aerial Wild Shot
Liberty Attack
Raging Wind
Monkey Catch

Rings:
Spiral Bolt
Arrow Storm
Deluge Bolt
Trapper
Moment Evasion
Tornado Shot
Falcon Strike
Falcon Rise

Recommended:
Neck:
Silver Hunter

Reason : need no explanation

Earrings:
Monkey Catch

Reason :
Reducing 3 secs CD to 2 secs give a lot of freedom for chaining. And you can create some definite pattern when doing aerial manuever (see next section)

Rings:
Deluge Bolt and Tornado Shot.
Reason : Best DPS and best burst.

Gameplay and Aerial Manuever:

Here comes the most important part of the guide, more important than previous section, IMO.
The core gameplay of Silver Hunter is revolving on firing your skills from air, because :
1. Skills cast faster in air
Silver Hunter is probably among the fastest-casting class when she cast her skills from air.
The cast time reduction for each skills when casting in air :
Spiral Bolt : -45% cast time
Aerial Wild Shot : -28% cast time
Arrow Storm : -57% cast time
Deluge Bolt : -58% cast time
Rising Wind : -37% cast time
Tornado Shot : -30% cast time.

2. In general, it's safer to DPS from air
I've heard someone told me that's not the case for RDN. I will leave the argument to those who live in raid.
But for other contents, it's pretty much safer to stay in air.

Aerial manuever skills:
Before we jump into the skill rotation in air, let's start knowing some important skills that hasn't been covered
1. Monkey catch
This is your main skill to initiate and to stall
You can cast it on ground and cast it in mid-air.
Pressing left/right on ground will make you jump forward with deviation to left/ right
You can cast Monkey Catch after doing Aerial Tumble or its continuation, or after casting Moment Evasion > Jump.

Here are the distance variation when you press W/S on your 1st/2nd jump. Negative value implies you are jumping backward:

1st jump :
In air :
press nothing: x
press W: x
press S: -x

On ground:
press nothing: x
press W: 1.5x
press S: -x

2nd jump:
Left click: (forward)
press nothing: 2x
press W: 2x
press S: 2x

Right click: (backward)
press nothing : -2.8x
press W: -2.8x
press S: -2.8x

Cast duration :
1. 28 frames for 1st jump
2. up to 32 frames for 2nd jump

Note : Both jumps do not have iframe.
Bug : it seems that the 2nd jump causes Silver Hunter's hitbox rooted on ground; In particular, when traversing through the boss' "red zone".

2. Moment Evasion > Jump
This is another alternative to initiate aerial manuever. The altitude is much higher than normal jump, and hence a preferred method to initiate.
Beware that MP consumption is extremely high.

Note : The DSK animation is fully iframed, so it's much safer than normal jump

3. Aerial Tumble
Because it costs a lot of bubble to cast (7 bubble), you will not use this primarily to stall.
You can chain Aerial Tumble to Flamingo, then Air Raid by pressing right click, then left click. You will gain higher altitude by chaining into these 2 skills. Furthermore, you can do Air Raid > Moon kick if you want to drop to ground immediately (in case of you need to cast Liberty Attack > Tornado Shot INS).
Note that you can't do Aerial Tumble from Monkey Catch, only Aerial skills can chain to Aerial Tumble.

Note/Bug : Aerial Tumble will be casted in ground when you are in Silver Hunter  mode and have enough bubbles to do Aerial Tumble

Skill rotation:
Assumptions :
- Aerial Wild Shot epic CD plate and Monkey Catch +1 earring are used.
- Frame counting is based on 60fps
- Normal gap between skill cast is 10 frames, with higher altitude, can be further enlarged to 20+ frames because you may not want to fly to high.

Let the skills are grouped as follows:
Initiate 1 : Jump > Monkey Catch (~65 frames)
Initiate 2 : Moment Evasion > Jump (??? frames)
Group 1 (<= 6s CD) : Deluge Bolt > Spiral Bolt (83 frame including 10 frame gap)
Group 2 (<= 7.5s CD) : Arrow Storm > Aerial Wild Shot (149 frame including 10 frame gap)
Stall 1 : Monkey Catch (2 jumps) (45~60 frames)
Stall 2 : Aerial Tumble > Flamingo > Air raid (~120 frames)

The skill rotations can be done as such :
Pattern 1: Group1 > Stall 1 > Group 2 > Stall 1 > Group 1 > Stall 2 (>Stall 1) > Group 2 > Land, or
Pattern 2: Group2 > Stall 1 > Group 1 > Stall 2 (>Stall 1) > Group 2 > Stall 1 > Group 1 > Land,

The basic idea is keep alternating between Group1 and Group 2 with squeezing a stall in between
Notice that Stall 2 can buy 2 seconds time, while Stall 1 can only buy about 1 second.
In case Stall 2 doesn't buy enough time for Group2 skills to CD, you can further continue with Stall 1

With 2s CD monkey catch, you will be guaranteed to able to cast it again after you cast any of 2 skills (not restricting to the grouping I mentioned above).
However, Group2 (the 7.5s CD skills) won't be able to recover with just 1 second stall in between group. And hence Stall 2 is necessary to buy longer time to make Group2 ready.

So it's important to keep in mind and practice that Stall 2 should only be used after Group 2 is in CD.
Here's example of execution time of pattern 1:

You are quick on making guide for a class that you just played, good luck on that

If only there will be PVP stat to let me refer and make a build, feelsbadman

Facts are easy to gather

Gameplay need some time as well as taking some feedback, hence the question mark on title.

I took Enhanced Attack (A) but it doesn't show in my FD stat. I'm unsure of how it works but have you tried testing with and without it?

Any classes that has FD buff, to what I know, don't show their FD buff from skills in the stats window.
Already checked on my Ruina, Spirit Dancer, Flurry.

I think Moment Evade A is increase in the skill's dmg, just like Arrow Barrage in sniper

Arrow Storm:
Coefficient : 1*5 hit (after turned guided) or 8 hit (before turned guided)
DPS (Lv16) : (284%*8) => 2272%/7.5s = 302%
Current known bug : Explosion sometimes don't trigger
Cast time (ground) : 91 frame (1.52s)
Cast time (air) :  39 frame (0.64s)

Tornado Shot:
Coefficient : 1*10 hit
Practical DPS (Lv11) : See Liberty Attack + Tornado Shot
Note : Can be cast in air even without transforming to SH
Current known bug : sometimes tornado doesn't appear
Cast time (normal) : 160 frame (2.67s)
Cast time (normal) : 112 frame (1.87s)
Cast time (INS) :  39 frame (0.65s)
Tornado Shot - I didn't have any issues with this. Or maybe, you didn't notice. Tornado only appears when it hits the enemy. It's on the tooltip. "A powerful tornado appears when the arrow hits the enemies and it will slowly move towards the front."

Arrow Shower - Well, this one is definitely a bug. It won't explode sometimes.

Rising Wind - I have an issue where the orb and the wind won't appear. Sometimes, it doesn't damage enemies. Not often, just rare.

Nice guide btw, needed it. (love)

Ah yeah, I noticed that Rising Wind sometimes don't trigger too.

I am not liking the amount of bugs this class has.

Corrected. Thanks!

Moon kick definitely useful if the boss happens to be right below you and you see your Liberty Attack available and it's safe to descend.
