I think sometimes you need the bursting power in small dps windows and ultis do that job very well in general. Maybe in terms of total dmg over CD those 2 aforementioned  skill plates could be better

ye u can make raindrop cd / reset or insta ex reset or umbra dmg or even applause dmg (better double hit everytime on a standing hitbox lel)

due to lower cd's now u have no time where u cant dmg
i decided to ulti because deals fu amount of dmg in iframe (other skills does ~same amount in same time, but no iframe)

and at rokes:
maybe u play raven for longer than since revamp... then u tell me something how to play pve raven - when u can remember ;)

btt:
puni cd is a must
rake dmg good ( a must if u play with insta ex reset chance)
crowsdeadfall dmg good - 1 button and u can deal another dmg skill meanwhile
ulti dmg - iframe  // if rake dmg u may think about insta ex reset // raindrop cd (well dont have a problem with that because 6 sec cd... i mean... rly?) reset maybe

edit:
ye exactly, depends on what u are running and what ur playstyle is

and not generally the "this or nothing" mentality that some ppl have here

But yeah:

Rake +DMG
Rain Drop -CD
Punishment -CD

Are musts, first two are by far top DPS and punishment to keep the stackabl debuff permanent.

Last plate choice can be Fade -CD // The End +DMG // Umbra +DMG.

For RDN purposes Fade -CD is the best choice unless your team oneshots the boss in which case The End + DMG is better

Also Crows Deadfall is bad, doesnt even reach 10% Damage on DPS meter, applause or The End are higher than it.

I dont care what he plays, I care when he  spreads a wrong playstyle and plate choice to new players that might regret spending their resources on wrong plates.

Also just answered to him, I didnt even start this.

--------------

Also when there is a full guide with plate choices explained just 2 posts below this thread shouldnt even exist, hence my first answer

What you mean by wrong play style? How you even know that his play style is "wrong"?

By playing the class myself and looking at results? There is a DPS meter now you know, when someone is a noob at a class there is proof now. And if he is choosing to plate crows deadfall its because its a strong skill for him, which means he is not casting other skills enough cause crows deadfall on a competent racen doesnt even reach top 5.

Happy now?

Rain drop and rake are by far your strongest skills. I'd never change those. Punishment CD means pretty much permanent debuff if used on CD (16 sec CD, 15 sec duration, skill takes about half a second or whatever to do full hits)

whatever you put on last slot is up to you. I like umbra DMG, while overlooked, it STILL is a 14k+ dmg skill and fairly easy for me to get full hits on any RDN boss (play inqui long enough and applying the same knowledge into doing full hits with umbra becomes a joke) but its really up to the player. Some just dont like the skill and I can understand why. Applause is alright. CDF is alright too. The End as well. Fade CD, I have yet to test, might be good but 30 sec CD suits the RDN party im in so im fine with it atm.

By playing the class yourself, but that mean its your own opinion and what you prefer. If other raven doesnt play like you that mean they are doing it wrong? (clap)  That ego meter doesnt mean shet. It depend on many things.

I have cdf dmg% and +2 for pvp purposes and it's always on my top 5, because 1-always use it after punishment and 2-raindrop is already very strong and -cd gives diminishing returns compared to cdf (3.6 seconds earlier for full burst. is that really worth a plate?)
also fade -cd% is great for spamming raindrop whyyyyyy in the world would you not take it.

No it doesnt, there is a correct way to play a class and there is hundreds of other ways that are wrong, thats what differentiates good ravens to great ravens.

Under no circunstance plating Crows Deadfall is an "alright" choice (even if cheesy says so).

I am not saying my playstyle is perfect, but just by looking at a couple of DPS meter results you can get a general idea what things are right and what things are wrong.

Also I like how you keep saying bullshìt about ego yet cannot prove me wrong in anything I said

It is your fifth skill because it has +17.7% damage increase, from +2 lel.

And Rain Drop CD is a must, you say it has diminishing returns but it only does if you do not spam it in between skills. Also the diminishing return is actually on +DMG plates since the FD you get on Fade + your own FD makes all damage plates be less effecrivw

i mean why would i spam it in between skills

Just asking question. I do not need to proof you anything. The whole point is, you are saying that "Quacksel" have wrong play style cuz he is not using the plate that you use? And how you even know how much he DPS?

"I care when he  spreads a wrong playstyle and plate choice to new players that might regret spending their resources on wrong plates."
