This constant dc happened to me when i updated my Nvidia graphics card.

If you guys use nvdia try to disable DSR function , Dynamic Super Resolution on your global settings in Nvdia control panel ,

If you guys use hdmi port as monitor i suggest u use a hdmi ported tv using nvidia high definition sounds as a default instead of realtek high definition audio . For reasons hard to explain but try it you will see the difference .

If your  using normal monitors  use realtek high definition audio as a default  like dvi ports monitors.

But dont use HDMI monitor then use realtek as a default in this game .

Don't use your nvidia experience to run or alter dragon nest or you will be re installing it . This always happen to me whenever i update my nvidia graphics card .

If your using windows 10 try to disable service all Xbox function.

Lesson i learned from this no matter how powerful your computer maybe you will never have a chance against DISCONNECTED FROM SERVER .

windows 10 not windows 10 pro because it has friendly anti virus and malware user friendly unlike in windows 7 and old versions sometimes my anti virus kills dragon nest exe which is stupid and you have to clean registry just to re install it this is one of the reasons that killed this game DEVELOPERS should do it when re installing not gamers themselves.

Or have at least like steam has verify game cache fix . Repair client like how battlenet fix their games.

This game is no longer computer shop friendly.

(Mine are all default, i don't bother altering Nvidia settings unless something happened. im also switching between 2 monitor that has Full HD and 1366p screen. no problems i encountered)

If you guys use hdmi port as monitor i suggest u use a hdmi ported tv using nvidia high definition sounds as a default instead of realtek high definition audio . For reasons hard to explain but try it you will see the difference .

(using DVI and HDMI dual monitor here, im yet to encounter an issue. I don't use Nvidia audio as my default when HDMI is plugged in. also don't switch your audio output when DN is running, it may cause crashing and watchdog violation error)

If your  using normal monitors  use realtek high definition audio as a default  like dvi ports monitors.

But dont use HDMI monitor then use realtek as a default in this game .

(Nvidia Experience is like bloatware, imo its better define settings on your own preferences but dont go overboard the game crashes frequently)

Just some thought:
  • try reverting back to old GPU driver, the last one where it was still functioning well
  • honestly, i doubt computer specs have something to do when you get disconnected. its either your connection or your changes made in the OS that make this happened
  • could be anti-virus problem too

does this work in my problem?
i keep getting dc every ONLY EVERY end of stage, before and in the chest selection only. Only in that part.
In town or dungeons without chest selection like NM, i dont even get DC. (i dont get the message/notification that i get dc, but its obvious because you cant chat, no update in chat i mean you can type but when you enter no response, stuck in chest selection like after 5 sec you cant do anything) this only means im dc.

edit: stable internet.
tried to get some anwsers using ticket, but getting same response no matter what.
using windows 10

i'd like to up this, base on what my last post 'dc prob after stage end' i've been fixing it and so far i "think" i fixed it at cost of many changes. One of the changes i made is re-installing nvidia.
And now ever since i re-install it 'dc prob after stage' is gone but added the random dc anyway, even at town. Anything can help at all?

Guys, also for those who keeps getting the "Send error report" errors and considering reformat, try getting windows 8.1 and let it update your drivers(through Windows Update). I've tried all, starting from Win7 to Win10 to WinXP, all errors. Tried 8.1 and it works for me.
