Greetings,

I'm a returning player (haven't played for a year or so) and today I decided to start playing again. Downloaded the newest version of DN (ver.190) and everything went fine with the download and login. Even my old characters are there with a "returning gift" hooray. But i encountered a problem, which is the following:

When i select a character and click on "start game" the screen goes black and after a few seconds DN closes, intirely. No error message what so ever.

Tried reinstalling it, tired the compatibility, even to create a new accout(makes no sense). Nothing changed - click "start game, Screen goes black, DN closed.

Couldn't find anything on the web about this. Any suggestions?

Ty

Hey there,

I have a few questions:
  • Which version of Windows are you running?
  • Are your Windows Updates fully up-to-date?
  • Are your graphic drivers fully up to date?

[10:42 PM] Anelin: Possible solutions:
1. Reset internet explorer to default (by clicking on any adds in the client it will open IE automatically.)

2. Download and installing it https://www.microsof...s.aspx?id=8109. It doesn't matter if he using the latest version.

3. https://support.micr...ual-c-downloads
It is necessary to download and install both 64 and 32 bit versions.

Try these.
