^ So he gets contaminated from touching the Black Dragon's parts and goes Elena as well? Is he a Dragon Follower of a Dragon Slave? Either way, it's good riddance. Although if Ignacio is the boss there, does this mean that a trip to a nest would be a requirement to proceed with Story Mode?

Personaly, Even though the Story of DN was Interesting.

It's Linear, and The good story able to exist becouse DN was not an open world. Making it Boring to repeat / have very Small replaybility value. it get boring the second time you make Acrobats when you have create a Bowmaster for instance.

I personaly found the lore was Good, in Regular Console RPG good. Final fantasy good, or Tales series good.

But in sense of Lore Depth or Back story, I personaly think RF (Rissing Force) have more Depth in it. it more feel like a novel than Videogame. While Ragnarok is It seems have no story at all, even the comic story was not good enough pout

If I say, which game backstory / Lore is the best of any I played. World of warcraft is the winner. Though the Lore do Little in your daily advanture on kalimdor.  The vast open world it have offer A story that not directed by Developer. But by the player. And it Being open world like it was, Many legend and experience that will be more annoying, more Fun, more Epic than the directed Advanture was. like experiencing Blood Plague, or knowh how 1 player can be such an as*hole like Angwe was.

humusz: Well, the more recent episodes of Ragnarok appear to have more story to it, especially the later ones. Although it's already too late to fix that one. As for RF and WoW, I agree that both games have a more expansive lore to it, although WoW lore sounds more Tolkien in some places.

xtheGazettE: Velskud appears to respect Geraint according to Heraldry Scholar Stas [it's revealed in one of the quests given by the Shaggy Kid in Saint Haven], and there are speculations that say that Velskud is not inherently evil. In fact, one of my guildies outright stated that he's not a villain. As for Argenta and Geraint, seeing Geraint get killed like that makes me worry that Argenta might suffer the same fate. I would have given her all the Poison Sacs and Sweet Milk Wine in the world if it is possible to give her gifts. tear

I love the cutscene where your character gives that 'shocked' expression at the leviathan thrusting into geraint.

Then nerdrages and starts to do super human wacking with a slab of torn wood on the pirate ship lol

Oh wait.. i think somewhere sounded wrong...shady

Ragnarok Story is werecrapy, The whole Ragnarok playing experience is based by Player, Fan made story and Fanon. That what make it so Epic. The factor of Almost non existant Quest on It is like GTA where you run free in Vast world doin whatever you not destined to be. The latest one have good story though, but the freedom to become most wanted by Feds, crushing dozen people with an ambulance is what we play it for smile

To bad the DN lack character Custumazation and very linear storyline. If it have more dialoque and *What I realy hope possibility of Multiple Ending. This can be Greater. The character all was Hero of Justice kinda thing.

Imagine if There is an option to many dialoq leading to Diffrent ending. I would like the character to be Dark Hero. maybe a little Arrogant.

so when Argentha Kiss my Character, it wont show Inocent looks in her Eyes. since she was Baddass, my Bowmaster will turn the scene into Hot Deep french kiss, problably with some Yuri Scene ending. love

The interesting part was with Teleju, Kevin and his relation to the apocalypse nest (the first hint to Loli's story), and Merchant Kelly (history of Geraint's name). I followed the story and was surprised seeing how I finished all the quests without noticing.

The most boring and WTF-ish story was with merchant Pero.

xtheGazettE: Velskud appears to respect Geraint according to Heraldry Scholar Stas [it's revealed in one of the quests given by the Shaggy Kid in Saint Haven], and there are speculations that say that Velskud is not inherently evil. In fact, one of my guildies outright stated that he's not a villain. As for Argenta and Geraint, seeing Geraint get killed like that makes me worry that Argenta might suffer the same fate. I would have given her all the Poison Sacs and Sweet Milk Wine in the world if it is possible to give her gifts. tear

If you followed the story of the mechanic (the orb in black mountain), it states there that...

You will replace Geraint as the future Gold dragon. You will fight alongside Argenta, though you two will fail after the red dragon took the monolith. The monolith is the artifact that supports life in Althea's world (your world). Argenta, who is supposed to be 3x stronger than Geraint, appears weak cuz she's using her powers to support the monolith. After the monolith was taken by the dragon followers, the world went into a complete dystopia and thus the future Kevin (together with the Academic / loli) traveled back in time to warn the six heroes but ended up having an accident after passing through dried marissa spring and ended up in your time. The apocalypse main boss is actually the remains of a dragon, which is used by Kevin and the Academic as a 'ship' to travel back in time. It went back to life after passing through dried marissa spring, taking Kevin's body with it and leaving Kevin in the form of a whisp.

Velskud:

Now, Velskud's true motive in taking the power of the ancient and the black dragon is to stop his teacher - the one who became the red dragon.
